Danny Chen is the COO of Illuminatio Medical Technology, a CUHK spin-off advancing MRI for early disease detection and AI-driven radiomics. Previously a partner at New Atlas Capital, he advised biotech startups in Hong Kong and Mainland China on fundraising. With a background in equity research and corporate finance, Danny is passionate about strengthening Hong Kong’s startup ecosystem. After completing his MBA at CUHK two years ago, he transitioned from finance and investment to healthcare, leading Illuminatio’s team to pursue its mission and vision. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from HKU and an MBA from CUHK.
