Speaker Information:
In the past 23 years, Alvin’s portfolio spans across the civic, education, culture, business, and development sectors. His wide spectrum of specialisms ranges from social innovation and entrepreneurship, cultural production and curatorship, business concept and modelling, industryacademia collaboration, public-private partnership.
He was Founding Director of Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2008-15). Thereafter he joined the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA, Beijing) as Adjunct Professor and Vice Dean of City Design and Innovation (2016-20), while he was also Chief Editor for STEM Education and Future Schools at National Institute of Education Sciences (NIES, Beijing).
